Headed in a trip from Huaraz to the Pastouri Glacier

Stopped at 3700 meters for sweet cocoa tea, took a paracetamol as a precaution to the altitude too

Stopped to photo the Bromeliads which look like huge cacti, and only grow in a few areas round here

Got to the carpark at 4900m it was snowing, very pretty. We then walked up to 5100m at the glacier base.

Today we´re off camping at the beach for a few days

I cant believe how well we are eating everywhere, much better than i expected. I had been trying to fatten myself up in the US in preparation!
