Well i am now recovering from what was apparently salmonella...2ce in one month now....how lucky am i!!??
today at dads suggestion im not going to work incase i give the bug to someone else
its really sunny and ive been a bit risky and put shorts on and my legs are already starting to freeze...i am determined to persevere though!

well i need to do some laundry today so its either a taxi/bus to the plaza de armas or handwashin in the sink
think id rather go up and get it washed and dried for a few soles
coz while i can handwash smalls i think my towel is another matter

what i have realised this last week is that everyone in peru is short
i am tall if not average height here which in england = midget!!
very odd!!
maybe the altitude shrinks you!!!
maybe ill come back smaller!!! :O

theeres like a million churches and ruins and stuff to do round here and the new volunteer i met, sara, her host dad is a tour guide!! bingo!!!

the bars here are very normal but super cheap!!
the local specailty drink, Pisco Sour, is delicious
very alcoholic and very refreshing!
happy hour here you can get two drinks for 6soles which is like getting 2 drinks for around about a pound back home!!
and they dont skimp on the booze either!!
its crazy!!

anyhoodles best be off
ill write more tongith when ive been out and about
craving roast dinners and chicken nuggets right now!!
crazy!!
might make a detour to McDonals!!.....yes they do have one here too!!!

charlotte, so glad your feeling better, you had me worried for a bit when i turned the p c on last night. you sound like a different person today. well it's rained all day in ponty, we're just heading off to gatwick to meet geraint, really can't waite to see him now. hope the mc donalds was well cooked or you may have more problems. hope your liver survive's all that cheep alcohol. wook after yourself, love karen.xxxx
