Me quedo el dia en Nasca. He aprovechado la mañana para hacer un tour para ver unas momias cerca de aqui en el desierto. Tienen mas de mil años, las momificaron por lo que dicen con aji, sal y otras especias cuando todavia no estaban muertos del todo, y luego los metieron en una especie de trinchera abierta en el desierto, con un tejadillo. Y alli se han quedado resecandose todo este tiempo, hasta que los saqueadores las destrozaron, y ahora esta todo el campo lleno de huesos, algunos con pellejos y cartilagos todavia. Luego nos han hecho el gran clasico del tour turistico, nos han llevado a la tienda de ceramicas y al taller de oro. Y he pagado 90 soles por este tour, una pequeña estafa... Luego he vuelto y he ido a la estacion de autobus, alli he conseguido por 80 soles un ticket de bus a Arequipa + 30 por la bici. De esta manera me quito unos 600km de carretera por la costa, todo desierto y algun pueblo minusculo cada 100 km o mas. Finalmente he llegado a las 2 de la mañana y he hecho check in en un hostal

Day off in Nasca. I've taken a morning tour to see some mummies near here in the desert. They have been there over a thousand years, they were mummified with pepper, salt and other spices when still not dead at all, and then put them in a kind of open trenches in the desert, with a roof. And there have been sitting there all this time, until the looters destroyed them, and now this whole field is full of bones, some with skins and cartilages yet. Then we have the great classic of the tourist tour, we were led to the ceramic store and gold workshop. And I paid 90 soles for this tour, a small scam... Then I returned and I went to the bus station, there I got a bus ticket for 80 soles to Arequipa + 30 for the bike. With that I spare myself a 600km road along the coast, mostly desert and some small village every 100 km or more. Finally I arrived at 2 in the morning and I did check in into a hostel.
