Perú es increible, despues de Chiclayo donde visitamos las ruinas arqueológicas mochicas fuimos hacia Trujillo, otra ciudad costera, colonial y rodeada de ruinas preincaicas. Las ciudades son muy interesantes de visitar y a veces te recuerdan a ciudades Españolas pero la verdad es que teníamos ganas de sentir el Perú mas profundo y nos dirigimos hacia una ciudad en los andes la cual está rodeada de varias cordilleras de montañas de 5.000m a 6.700m.
Perú is incredible, after being in Chiclayo where we visited some mochicas arqueologic sites we went to Trujillo, another city near to the coast, colonial and surrounded by preincaics ruins. Cities are really interesting to visit and it remind us to some spanish cities but to be honest we were looking forward to feel the real Perú and went to an andean city (Huaraz) which is surrounded by mountains of 5.000meters to 6.700meters high.
En esta ciudad fuimos acogidos por Ivan, un chico peruano super servicial que nos hizo sentir como en casa.
Hicimos unas caminatas de un dia para aclimatar el cuerpo a la altura, una de ellas a la Laguna 69 donde alcanzamos los 4.700m de altura, allí se encuentra la
laguna de agua turquesa de ensueño entre montañas nevadas. Ya estábamos preparados para la caminata de 4 días y tres noches. De camino hacia donde la excursión empezaría vimos la imagen más impresionante hasta el momento. El Huascarán, la montaña más alta de perú con mas de 6.700m de altura. Vista desde abajo te sientes tan pequeño...qué grandeza!!!
In Huaraz we stayed at Ivan´s house, a guy from Perú that made us feel like we were at home. We made some short trekkings to get ready for the four days trekkings, one of the days we went to Lake 69 where we got to 4.700m high, over there you can see the amazing turquaise lake between mountains full of snow. On the way to the trekking we saw the most amzing view tiil then. Huascarán, the highest mountain in Perú, more than 6.700 meters high. When you see it from down there you feel so small...
El trekking fue buenísimo, duro en momentos porque ahora es época de lluvias y por la noche hace mucho frío. Pero mereció la pena poder observar esos paisajes tan impresionantes y pasar unos días desconectados del ruído de la ciudad
y la tecnología.
The trekking was really good, sometimes hard because it is quite cold at night and it is rainy season. But it was worth it to be able to watch the amazing landscape and to be disconected of the city and technology.
Todo esto fué hace un mes y medio más o menos, todavía seguimos en Perú pero muy cerquita ya de Bolivia. Estamos en el Lago Titicaca. Poco a poco os iremos contando este mes y medio de viaje por Perú, por Machupicu, el Valle Sagrado.....
All this was about a month and a half ago, we are still in Perú but very close to Bolivia. We are in Lago Titicaca. Soon we will write about this month and a half travelling in Perú, Machupichu, Sacred Valley of Incas....
