This is great and I plan on taking this journey so your pictures have provided a clearer picture of what river travel is like. I would have liked to have seen some of your pictures of Vilcambamba,though.

Thanks so much, it's not easy to find good information about travelling from Ecuador to Iquitos, yeah by plane but i'd rather spend my money on other things... I will go the 4th of januari to Quito and want to do Galapagos, Ecuador, Peru and from Iquitos to Manaus Brazil with boat. After i take a plane to Rio (it's not that expensive) for the carnaval!;) If you have any further information that will cheer me up please let me know Take care Marco, Holland
