Edit Blog Post
Ok,
So I said I would do better to update my travel blog, but I guess I haven't. Since my last entry I ended up getting a job at that school. I have been teaching 2nd grade for the last couple months. I like it a lot, but it is difficult because they don't understand much English. It is getting very tough now because there are only 2 weeks left of school. The school is really nice and I would work there again next year if they had a good position for me.
The weather here is getting better. We have had some nice sunny days. It is really weird to say that summer is coming in December. I have not really been to the beach much. By the time I get home from school it is too late(I miss getting home at 2 and biking to the beach like in Honduras) and the weekends just seem to fly by(We go to the American sports bar every Sunday to watch football). I still plan to learn how to surf though.
I am still living in the same place, but I am moving in two weeks. My friend Jeff is
Dolphins clock
At the sports bar. going home for a month and so I am living at his place while he is gone. We are going to get a place when he gets back.
I got a job teaching English in K-6th grade for next year starting in February and going until December, so I will be here until then. This job is at a nice school and pays me a little more than the one I have now. I do have to actually get a green card to work this job though instead of working illegally.
If anyone wants to come down and visit at anytime during the next year let me know. I have breaks after each bimester, so that would be the best time. I have a couple friends coming at the end of Feb/beginning of March if you want to come then. Also, I will be looking for people to do the Inca trail with in May or possibly July. Just let me know if you are interested in visiting and I can tell you when would be a good time.
Other than that life is pretty good. I work pretty hard during the week, this job is definitely
Sunset
There are some pretty incredible sunsets. harder than what I was doing in Honduras, and we party pretty hard on the weekends. I have met a of cool people here and have a couple good friends that I always hang out with.
I hope everything is going well wherever you are. As always pass this link on to anyone who might be interested in getting an update from me every three months. Just kidding. I really do plan to update more often. I will post some pictures until my crappy computer decides not to work anymore. If I have some left I will post them in another entry later.
Also my new email address is FarleyB6@gmail.com and if anyone wants to chat on Skype my name is farley.stephenson.
Besitos,
Farley
