Lima

Lima niestety byla ostatnim przystankiem w Peru. Miasto nie rozni sie specjalnie od innych duzych miast w Ameryce Poludniowej. Tak jak inne ma sporo slumsow na obrzezach, dzielnice, ktore lepiej omijac, bardziej eleganckie biznesowe i centralny plac, ktory czesto nazywa sie Plaza de Armas. Na Plaza de Armas, fontanna, katedra, inne eleganckie budynki. W Limie ciekawszy jest Plaza de San Martin, ale tylko ze wzgledu na posag Matki Ojczyzny (Madre Patria). Projektant chcial, zeby glowa byla ozdobiona plomieniami (po hiszpansku plomien-llama). Jako, ze llama znaczy rowniez lama, peruwianscy rzemieslinicy, ozdobili glowe malenka lama.
Niestety troche kombinowalam z moim aparatem i w rezultacie zdjecia sa bardzo kiepskiej jakosci.

Najfajniejsze bylo to, ze moj towarzysz podrozy ma przyjaciol w Limie wiec wreszcie mozna bylo oddedchnac od brudnych hosteli; mlode imprezowe malzenstwo ze sliczna coreczka, mnostwem imprezowych znajomych i garbusa (zwanego yerbamobil).

Unfortunatly Lima was my last stop in Peru. It is not especially remarkable cities. Like the others, has slums, district, which are better to be avoided, the other elegant, business places, major squer, called Plaza de Armas, fountain, cathedral, other nice buildings. For me more interesting was Plaza de San Martin but only because of the statue of Madre Patria. Designer wanted to decorate the head of the statue with the flames (flame in spanish is llama). Llama means also llama, the animal, so peruvian workers decorated the head of the statue with little cute llama.

The nicest in Lima was that a friend with who I´m travewling now, has friends in Lima. We could rest from dirty hostels. The friends were young marriage, which likes to party, has a beautiful little daughter, a lot of party firends and old VW called yerbamobil.
