Thats what the guidebook calls it..... Las Islas Ballistas. Just off the coast of Peru.... near Pisco

It was a buzz of wildlife activity. We took a boat across to look at wonders of nature. We saw thousands of pelicans - swooping in to fish, a few penguins- sat on the rocks and loads of seals- being very noisy and smelly!

It was many ´firsts´for Lotte, who was unbelievably excited about the whole thing.. especially at the thought of swimming in the pacific ocean! Even tho the water was very cold, after once seeing Lotte run into the North Sea, I knew she would not let this stop her!! And of course, it was great fun!!

Even for Lo and I (our big first was seeing a pelican!) it was very exciting, so many birds and seals, really was amazing... I cannot wait until the richmans Galapagos.. (in less than 1 month...).

Back to Lima to shop, have some pisco sours and say goodbye to Lotte : ( (2 weeks has gone by too quickly). Lucky for us, she has offered to provide a courier service for Lo & I......lots of shopping!!
