Friday 1st Feb - Day 10

Sacred valley tour, visited various incan ruins.

Saturday 2nd Feb - Day 11

Lares trek day 1, about 10km of hiking up to camp at 4200m. We had a team of 5 porters and several donkeys and llamas. The food these guys cook in such remote places is amazing! We took bread and pencils to give out to the local children as they live miles away from civilisation and basically live on potatos.

Sunday 3rd Feb - Day 12

Lares trek day 2, about 20km of hiking over two high passes at 4600m. Walking at this altidude feels like running! Benny the cook did another amazing meal to keep us going.

Monday 4th Feb - Day 13

Lares trek day 3, about 10km of hiking downhill to Ollaytaytambo where we got the train to Augas Calientes (hot springs) at the foot of Machu Picchu.
