I realized that in the entire four months I was traveling I never once took a picture with my pack on. Here was my last chance. It was especially heavy this time because of the novels I had bought a few hours earlier (about 27kg, or 59 pounds). It was over the weight limit, but I put on my (non-existent) charm and they let me through.

With my mom, enjoying a hard-earned Yuengling, my favorite beer. Its amazing taste was only second to the beer I had after I turned in my college thesis.
