Day Four....
Putting day four on its own for the pics...
Final day and we were up at 4am("worst wake up ever!!" - GC) after boozing til 11. Another delightful breakie and off to the gate to stand in the dark and rain for half an hour. Everyone is up early to scramble the last 1 and a half hours to catch the Sun rise at the Sun Gate. After moving fast to the gate in the pissings of rain we only saw cloud. We then strolled down to the city and it was amazing. A huge place carved ito the side of a mountain. And whats cool about it is the inca´s never moved or destroyed the rock or mountain, they built with it. So big boulders are part of temples and farms go down the mountain in terraces. Its spectacular.
We got our photos done and were chuffed we brought the poncho´s in the rain. Even got the cigars out. Brilliant!!(and im not gonna use the best thing so far thingy).
Then me, dar, graham, gar, john(usa) and fergus from Canada decided to climb WanyaPicchu which overlooks the city. It was tough and the stairs
were horribly steep. Got to the top and you can look out over the whole valley(WanyaPicchu was the centre piece) It was tough after 4 days but more than worth it. It was then down to the town to get lunch and catch the train back to Cusco to get ready for the big Paddys day session...........
