After some careful consideration we bit her hand off. So after poshing... Read Full Entry

Wow - just absolutely amazing - breathtaking scenery. You both must be very fit to have made that climb - looks really difficult, but clearly well worth it. (Good job you didn't have Charlie and Tess with you!!) Brilliant blog, you always make us chuckle so much. We do hope you will be fully recovered soon Sheryl, a good dose of CSI and TLC sounds about right. lots of love to you both. xxxxxxxxxxx ps: Llama walking?!?!?

Isn't it just amazing?! Loved it there so much although we lamed out and took the bus - the climb up the longest staircase in the world looked brutal!!! And obviously we didn't make it in time for Wanapichu but that looks like a pretty sketchy walk down too! Yay! It makes me want to do it all over again!!! Mwah! x

Reminiscences of Machu Picchu
I went to a conference in Lima some 20 years ago, and your blog brought it all back. I was there for two weeks, and went to Cusco the first weekend, and, as you say, the lack of oxygen certainly held you back. I certainly got the bus up the mountain, and was amazed, like everyone, with MP. On the return bus down the mountain some boys raced down, appearing like magic at each bend, and at the bottom appeared smiling, with, of course, their hand held out. On the Monday morning a week later the four speakers gathered in the conference room with the chairman, expecting to run a session. But nobody else appeared. Every single person had gone to up Cusco for thew weekend, but the weather had stopped all flying back on Sunday. The chairman wanted to cancel, but the speakers refused, so we each spoke to an audience of three! Lovely place. Lots of love C xxx

Conferences
Talk about a nice venue! Do four people actually constitute a conference? I can't believe that the kids could beat the bus.. amazing. I think they deserved some money.. as we did when we reached the top! :O) xxxxx
