Getting hit by a soccer ball slightly hurts when it's kicked hard enough.

Ok, haven't posted for a while, but Thursday was Corpus Christi, which is a Catholic holiday here in Cusco. It was pretty fun, but there were so many people in the Plaza you could barely move around. At one point in the giant parade they carry the 12 Saints around the Plaza. I also tried a typical dish that they have every year called Chiriuchu. It consisted of all cold stuff, including guinea pig, sausage, fish roe, a type of cornbread, cheese and some seaweed type thing. It wasn't too bad just very different. But Friday after classes was fun. We went to play fulbito (mini-field soccer) and after we had played for a bit, some local Cusqueñans asked if we had an extra player. I went a played goalie in their game. They kicked a lot harder than our group, but i made a lot of saves. I'm a little sore now for the next day from getting hit so much but it was fun. Today (Saturday) a group and I are going to ride horses for about 4 hours later. I can't wait!! It should be really fun. Well hope you enjoyed my blog so far. Chao!!
