Not much more to add for Cuenca, but did want to share some more photos from the beautiful town square. Every town in Ecuador has a beautiful central square with stunning landscape architecture - enjoy!

Riverbank in Cuenca

The Cuenca river is absolutely beautiful, they have a nice path running alongside it. A few people are lucky enough to have their front door open onto this view!

It´s a little dark, but we think the trees he´s standing in front of are a special kind of tree called Podocarpus.

Final photo of our beloved Hostal Macondo

Isn´t this gorgeous? Best hostel EVER. They let us leave a bunch of our stuff there while we went camping in a national park for 3 days (trip report on that shortly!).
