Day 2

Today we were extreme tourists visiting all the cathedrals, museums (that were closed), markets, churches etc! In the morining we bought our bus ticket to Lima, which was a challenge as the travel agent didn't understand English and we didn't understand Espanol fully!

In the afternoon we walkied around the Old town after an interesting experience getting squashed on the city's trolebus! We got some great views and found a Hare Krishna Temple......yes you can find a temple anywhere in the world! That was really spiritual......

Next stop was Parque Itchimbia.....our pre-inca trail training! So many steps....but we made it to the top for a fantastic 360 panoramic view of Quito! It was worth the climb!

We headed back to the hostel to have a relaxing evening, but got tempted by an invite out to the town from fellow travellers! We went to a few bars and found a small sheesha cafe!

Absolutely fab day!......apart fromt he constant rain which we're quite used to anyway! ")
