Photo update

Got some photos developed and scanned. Think this will have to be my way of updating now that my wee digital camera has died a death. Still toying with the idea of buying one, but they´re a bit more expensive in Quito, so will probably dither about it for the next year or so...anyway, here´s some photos. They´re a bit mixed up, and all the monitors in this internet place are a bit dark, so hope they show up. I´m sure this whole process will become a bit smoother over time...

Llaneros are the cowboys of the Los Llanos region in Venezuela, and supposedly pride themselves on their toughness. This is the area that Hugo Chavez is from

On the riverbank in Los Llanos, Venezuela. Apparently Caiman are actually quite shy, and I even saw a farm dog chasing one back into the river

Useful advice
A sign at the top of the longest and highest cable car in the world warns you not to throw yourself headlong over the mountain

The lookout above Villa de Leyva in Colombia. Took us an hour to get up here, but was definitely worth it for the view

Where's my Columbiana?
Think you will need to bring back some of this Columbiana stuff... tell me, does it work for hangovers just as well? Can you get a roll and potato scone to go with it??? P.S. Most jealous about the cowboys!!!!
