Today we went to the Otavalo Market. This is a huge market, which happens every Saturday.
First we went to see the animal market, and saw enough pigs and cows for a lifetime. You wouldn´t believe how loud a pig can be when someone tries to load it on the back of a pickup truck.
We hung around the market for a few hours, and bought some nice traditional stuff.
Then we went for a walk around Laguna Cuicocha, which is a beautiful laguna inside a volcanic crater. We got some rain on the way, but it was still an excellent hike.

Sunday we´ll be taking it easy, going to museums aroud Quito.
Monday we´ll go to Papallacto, which is a town which has some hot baths, it should be fun.
