It's not easy being a beach master, young males regularly challenge the beach master and often the results are a bloody mess. This fellow controls the beach, but it cost him to do so. His face has a huge gash on it which is still in the process of healing.

This little lizard crept closer and closer to this big male sea lion, then leaped onto it for a second or two then leaped back off. I guess he's eating ticks, or parasites, but I reckon he's still suicidal. One role and lizard jelly. 200kgs on 200g? No contest.

I was curious to see if I could get a macro shot of this seal pups face, he was curious about me. He kept biting my tripod, and licking my camera lense...I gave up eventually.

We were able to take some photo's with our waterproof camera. So whenever we went snorkeling we brought it...first swim, was swimming with sea turtles!
