Well we left the crowded city, hopped on a bus headed 3.5 hrs south to the town of Baños. On the bus down they played the Green Mile ( in spanish, with spanish subtitles) which is a crazy movie to watch in another language, but albeit a worthy distraction. there are lots of these cable cars that go across a very deep canyon. sketchy. but the people in the cart were loving it.

shrouded in clouds, we never got much of a view of it, but it spits lava frequently

pronounced yapeen gachos, its a common lunch. fried potatoe cakes, chorizo sausage, rice, salad, and avacado with a fried egg and fresh juice for two dollars.

people in this area do a lot of high altitude farming
