Quite alot to report as i haven´t been on the net much. Due to traveling first and being ill later.

From Toganga i went to Cartagena, which is an old colonial city with spanish style architechture.
Didnt see as much as i´d have liked as it was just too damn hot to walk around, but it was a beautiful city.

From there I got a nightbus to Medellin (easily my favorite Colombian city.)
It has an urban, bohemian atmosphere, and i spent two delightful days visiting art galleries and museums, and sipping cappacino on leafy terraces. (Coffee in Colombia is a different drink to the UK. Think the difference in tomatoes in the med and england. Become a bit of an addict since i´ve been here.)

Then onto Cali, Popayan and then Ipalies. This is where i became ill, so i holed up here for a few days, then went over the boarder into Ecquador. Got treatment at a hospital in Quito (in four hours i saw a doctor, had a blood and other test, got the results and was diagnosed. Only cost me $30 as well. Pretty immpresive.)
So i´m now on antibiotics and on the mend.

Quito is a lively city, with more variety of food than Colombia. I fouind it difficult to get anything other than tradional Colombian food there which is good, but like anything, gets boring two meals a day.

Here they have Chinese, Italian as well as Ecquadorian food so theres more to choose from, which is good.
Beer is only 50c a bottle, and good, although i find i´m not drinking much (to my, and I´m sure your, surprise.)

Going to spend a few more days here, then I´m not sure where. Either the mountains or the beach i think.

Keep you updated.
