By dark the place was so crowded there were no seats left on the stairs or the street. It was the last night of a weeklong movie series set up on the plaza and free to the public.

Chiloe has the only penguin colony in the world that has 2 kinds of penguins, the Magellan and the Humboldt---far enough north for the one, far enough south for the other.
