What's under the bridge?
We could see something moving from the other end of the beach... Three years today (Nov 11) Coebbie and I have been in love. Unfortunately though I woke feeling less than average but there was no use in sitting in a cave feeling sorry for myself, especially considering how perfect the day was. So we gathered ourselves and caught the metro to Vina Del Mar (or so we thought). There was so much rubbish on the beach and the water was ice cold but Coebbie could not be deterred from taking a quick dip.
We spotted something along the beach that people were milling around to take photos of. Sea Lions we think relaxing in the sun underneath an industrial wharf. I was shaking as I took a thousand photos. They were humungous but it was the deep hollow octaves of their bark that really terrified me. There were idiots taking photos that didn't take their barks serious enough to keep their distance. As soon as they got within metres of the blubbery sea creatures the lions barked and tried to move forward in attack. I ran. I was not getting amongst that argument for anyone. The idiots kept moving closer however and the sea lions eventually were so pissed
Like slimy slugs
Just chilling (or warming) off they moved to their comfort zone of water as if to say, "come closer with your camera now, you bastards."
Realising we weren't in Vina Del Mar we walked for about 40 minutes until we made it. The beach was full to the brim with people but we managed to find a spot and just watched the water and the people for a while. It was crazy to think that at 6 o'clock in the evening we were still baking in the warmth of the sun.
When we got home I cooked some tomato based dish and some rice and we chilled out until bed time with maybe a couple games of Jenga in between.
