Jetlag had hit us as we both woke up at 5am and couldn't get back to sleep!had breakfast at the hostel then managed to finally get money out at a Santander bank!we joined the free tour santiago- a 4hr walking tour taking you around all the main sites!!it was really interesting and for lunch we tried theEmpanadas pino-pastry filled with meat, olives and egg! After the tour, we got a funicular train up to the top of cerro san cristobal-great view of the city! After that we walked up the cerro Santa Lucia which was a pretty hill-again had great views of the city!it was 38 c so we went back and showered and rested and then went for dinner in the barrios lastarria area! Good was delicious in the restaurant we choose-had some lamb and beans and Ryan a big piece of meat! It all got washed down with some Chilean sav blanc!!
