We decided to finish our trip back on the main land and head more towards the Andes. We stayed in this small town of Puerto Varas, at the foot of one of the most famous Chilean volcanoes: Volcano Osorno.
Even though we had a good laugh in the town itself, we did no get the chance to see the volcano because of the bad weather. We went trekking around the national park and got the chance to see some impressive cascades.

Due to the rubbish weather forecast ahead of us, we decided to shorten our days in the south and headed back to Santiago by bus.

Now we are back in Santiago, roasting hot and just staying with the family. Until Evan heads back to Buenos Aires, I guess we will be held between the Santiago night life and the beach, which is an hour away form the capital.
I don’t think I will have much to say until I start my solo trip around mid-jan and it will probably be the next time you’ll be hearing from me. Until then, I wish you all a merry xmas and a great new year.
