Mar 22. Puerto Montt & Puerto Varas. On prend les mêmes et on recommence et puis enfin le départ avec Navimag / Puerto Montt &Puerto Varas : Let’s do it again. Then departure with Navimag, finally

L’embarquement pour le ferry est annoncé entre 9h et 11h, mais quand on s’y arrive présente à 10h, ils nous annoncent que le bateau qui arrive du sud (et que nous devons prendre) a du retard, donc que nous pouvons revenir vers 16h…Ok, donc qu’allons-nous faire car on a vraiment épuisé les maigres possibilités de la ville où nous sommes déjà restés trop longtemps. Finalement, l’option la plus sympa est d’aller faire un tour à Puerto Varas près du lac, où j’étais le week-end dernier. Oui, comme un air de déjà vu ! Comme j’ai déjà fait le tour de la ville, je me pose dans un café (réserver les billets pour l’île de Pâques, ouuuui !) et je laisse les autres se balader. Une pause bien agréable avant de retrouver la salle d’embarquement où nous lâcherons les amarres finalement à 20h.

Découverte de la cabine, plutôt petite mais les 2 dames russes qui étaient avec nous arrivent à s’installer dans une autre cabine, donc nous avons la cabine pour nous toutes seules, les bienfaits d’un bateau pas rempli. Diner complet et plutôt bon et soirée karaoké pendant laquelle le steward galère à trouver des volontaires, les chiliens sont finalement les plus téméraires (même s’ils chantent tout aussi faux), et il y a même une chanson sur Puerto Montt !

Boarding For the ferry is planned between 9 and 11 am, but when we arrive at 10 am, they’re telling us that the ship coming from the south (the one we will take) is running late, so we can come back at 4 pm… Right, so what are we going to do, because we used all the options, we stayed already too long here! In the end the best option is to go to Puerto Varas near the lake exactly where I was last weekend! Yes, I know, a sense of déja-vu. As I already visited the city, I just stay in a café (and book tickets for Easter Island!) et let the others walk around. A nice break before heading back to the Navimag boarding room. We finally cast off at 8 pm.

Discovery of the cabin (rather small but the 2 Russian ladies who initially shared it with us managed to get another one, so we have one for ourselves!, the good thing about not being in a full ship. A filling dinner, pretty good and karaoke at night. The steward is struggling to get some volunteers and Chilean people are the bravest in the end, even if they still sing like a crow and there is even a song about Puerto Montt!
