Landing in Osorno is a shock. Flying south from Santiago de Chile all you see from the Eastern side of the plane are volcanoes. They seemed to get larger and more frequent as we went on. Volcano in the middle erupted about a year ago, covering the region with ash, disrupting life.

Onward and upward
As usual we are there with you, but all we have to do is sit in our chairs, with the rapidly melting snow vanishing, and enjoy the ride and all the wonderful pictures, history and background. So far so good. I hope the bike is as good as the biker. Awaiting further results. Harry
