The long awaited set off date

So arriving at Heathrow at 2am after no sleep, since my packing bravely began at 11 the previous night, myself and my bleary eyed team met and checked in. 10 hours later, 2 flights, sleep in very weird places and positions and to my distress no on flight tv, we arrived in Receife to be met by our striders, Emma and Hannah. A little disorientated we drove throug streets you could hardly call roads, past various 'buildings' and we finally arrived in the seminary where we would spend the next 3 weeks. There we were greeted by Fahitama, one of the greatest cooks of all time, and her food (very salty or very sweet but always carbs). After the 10th time of 'is it nearly bed time' we gave into temptation, snuck under out mosquito nets and slept soundly.
