Rio to Buenos Aires - One Month
I hired an apartment with two friends from England in Rio and after they left I spent one more night to go to a Fat Boy Slim beach party and then i traveled to Ilha grande for more beach scenery and some abuse of caipirinias
Sao Paulo was next and was very pleasant, with the usual mix of cool and historic buildings and it was very much like an ant farm with its large number of tower blocks. I stayed with a friend for a week who was nice enough to welcome me and show me round ... obrigado Thatiana Victorelli. Her sister took me to one of the football stadiums and I was surprised to see two telephones next to the goals and even more fluffing surprised when one started ringing.
Florianoplois was a beautiful place, a nice city situated on the mainland and on an island, the ptwo parts joined by bridges. The island had some fantastic beaches, and I spent a week chilling on one of the.
After Florianoplois I crossed into Argentina via the fantastic Iguazu falls, the waterfall system
consists of 275 falls along 2.7 kilometres of the Iguazu River, the devils throat was the most impressive and dramatic section of it.
I flew home from Buenos Aires to see family and cycle from one end of the U.K. to the other.
(see UK cycle) Before flying back to the U.K, I spent a few days in Buenos Aires seeing the sights.
