As we are now about to leave Sao Paulo for the Bolivian rainforest we thought we should try and get this online journal up and running !! Sao Paulo has been a wonderful place to see , before coming here - We had read reports of a ugly, sprawling metropolis smeared with graffiti and crime. However this only represents one part of this vast city. We have found it to be alive with noise and colour, the people too be friendly and welcoming and it has one of the best skylines either of us has ever seen !!
We have had a great time here , whether its been going to the zoo (tacky I know but fun all the same!) , chilling in one of the copious amounts of cafes , seeing wild monkeys in Pedra Grande Park, eating ourselves stupid at the Rodizio restaurants or just taking it easy in the Bom Retiro area !!

I love this city.
greatest south american city.... it's my city u know? do u like it?i have a lot of photos. grafitti, crime, and more details aren't enough to undislike it . sorry my english is not so good.. now I'm in Italy .it's not the same thing.sometimes I think ... there's a reality ,it's not false . It's better than all. i love this city.
