6/3 Midday plane from Salvador to Rio. The Dill left for a different destination early in the morning. Strange experience, we do boats and buses together not planes! Rio was amazing to fly in to, the mountains and the oceans were picture perfect. Everybody immediately crashed out. It may be our last day together but were stuffed.

Daniel helped me plan my itinerary and then we headed out for fries and juice, no success ended up with filo parcels, walking along Copacabana, checking out the crowds and eating icecream. Ooj bailed on dinner but we went to a Churrascaria. Meat restaurant, with a flat rate and they keep piling it on your plate. Great food, marvellous icecream, lots of people out but we ditched going to clubs and fell asleep. Again!

7/3 Up early, met some Danes at the hotel and headed to the Cristo. Was planning to get a day bus and get to Sao Paulo early for my next flight but thought I should go there since its the landmark. More public transport, hired a taxi with some more Swedes, and went happy snappy. Self portraits are coming along nicely and Ooj is burning the piccies soon.

Rounded off the Christo with some beers, beached in the afternoon, said goodbye to Shell and Ooj, Caz went in the morning.... then chilled out until meeting up with Daniel and a group of his friends for drinks and music. That turned into 7 people crammed into the one taxi, screaming and looking for a club to go dancing. Unfortunately there were none open at 3am, so we did a city tour, singin help and hanging out the doors. Retired back to the square in front of the hotel wed moved to and listened to the Israelis singing. Theres a huge tourist traffic of these guys and they can drink. Managed 2 hours sleep and then headed for Sao Paulo bus. Zzzzzzzzz
