Over looking Ipanema Beach with our hosts.
Back in Rio after almost 10 years. Nothing seems to have changed except for the cost of living, which has amazed me on how expensive Rio and Brazil have become.

We arrived in Rio at 10p.m to some serious rain, which we were told had been raining non stop for the last 5 days and you could tell as all the roads were turning into small rivers. We stayed at a B&B called Rio Dolphin Inn (Cozy Corner Appartment) in Ipanema run by a lovelly couple John & Nina.

Woke up the next morning to a sunny morning and were shown around Ipanema by John & Nina who had breakfast with us at a local cafe. It was great as even they were surprised to see the sun as it had been raining for so long. Amy and I decided to take advantage of the sun and headed straight for the beach after breakfast and took our first swim of the holiday... NICE!
