La Paz polozone na wysokosci 3600 jest w ksztalcie wielkiech michy, zamknietej gorami. Centrum jest na samym dnie. Aby dostac sie w jakiekiekolwiek inne miejsce z centrum trzeba sie wspinac. Spacer po La Paz to ciagly trekking. Miasto jest bardzo zdezorganizowane. Kierowcy szaleni poruszajacy sie wg zasad zupelnie niezrozumialych dla Europejczyka. Wydaje sie, ze wszyscy handluja gdziekolwiek i czym kolwiek. Babinka ma tylko kilka wysuszonych badyli rumianku lub kilo landrynek, ale twardo sprzedaje. Poza handlowaniem ludzie wykonuja tu inne przedziwne zawody. Np. goscie krzycza z autobusu powiadamiajac o celu i cenie (nawijaja jak katarynki, ze tez im gardla nie siadaja). Na przejsciach dla pieszych skacza przebrani za zebry i przeprowadzaja ludzi przez ulice. Na innych przejsciach policjanci stoja z zegarkiem w reku i odmierzaja czas swiatla czerwonego i zielonego, a swiatla zmieniaja guziczkiem. Zwariowane miasto, ale na tym polega jego urok.
La Paz lies on the altitude of 3600m and has shape of a huge bowl surrounded by mountains. The centre is on the bottom so to get to any other place, you are going to trek. The city is in a total chaos. The drivers are crazy, driving according to the rules impossible to understand for
an European person. It seems that everybody sells whatever and whereever. A grandma has a bit of herbs or kilo of candies but sells. The people have also many other weird professions. E.G. in every bus there is a guy shouting the destination of the bus and the price for the ticket. On the streets you can see guys dressed as zebras helping people to cross the street. Some semaphores are operated by policemen, who change the light with the button. Insane city, but this is its charm.
