People today is Sunday. Yesterday after working hard on my thesis I decided to go out to do some shoping and take some pics of La Paz their people, their sights and the social problems. I was hoping to find some demonstration on the street, maybe some fights between social facions and police. The political set up in Bolivia is very hot at the moment, to make a long story short, Bolivia is a country with 8 milion people, 34 political partys and so big that you can drive 1800km and steel be inside of the country. This creates a situation where the true intent of all these political partys is not to develop the country but to control the country natural resources and to get rich. And this was what was going on until this presiden "Don" Evo Morales, the first indian to be elected as president ever, won the elections with a majority of votes. He started to nationalize companies (this past 1st of May all the petrol companies and major telecomunication company) and started cuting all these people from his plans in order to give more to Bolivia and their people ( (a) this is what he says and (b) I think that I dont need to mention that he is a comunist lol ). This made that all this people that were cut from his plans associated them selfs with the estern part of the country (where the natural resources are) claming a federal state where they want to control their own richness...you can imagine where this is going...illegal referedums...police on the street...neo nazi youth movements wanting to kill all the indians...Anyway, every country have to make a path towards development....it is jus a shame that the human species is so obsessed with power and money when you have more nicer and inportant things to do...money helps....but what about love, peace, and harmony.....laterzzzzzzz hope you like the photos
