We are at 3700m, and feeling it.
we made it to La Paz on an overnight bus from Sucre. Thank god the bus had toilets inside otherwise we wouldn´t have left Sucre for another month. Renata´s only condition to leave Sucre was a bus with a toilet. Understandable!
La Paz is sitting very high in the mountains, but unfortunately, it´s still a big city with lots of traffic. Also, it rained a lot which means we didn´t do much here really. Our time in La Paz was spent going to local markets, witches market, the zoo and to the post office to send a parcel back home. Our reason for coming here was that it was the platform to get to The Amazon Basin. Our next destination is Rurrenabaque in the jungle. Can´t wait to meet the aligators and piranhas...
