Day 43

Another early start as I had to catch the 8.30 boat to the Isla de Sol, one of the new 7 natural wonders of the world (according to Bolivia!!). The boat ride was a long 2 hours as nobody else spoke english, good times! Along the way you pass different islands that look as if nobody has ever stepped on them. Arriving at the Isla de Sol you have to pay an entrance to some dodgy Bolivian who pockets the cash and then you hike up the hill alongside a natural spring. The views at the top are something else, you can see hundreds of small Islands and appreciate just how big the lake really is!

In the evening we chilled and went out for some freshly cooked fish.
