Went with some friends outside Sucre to a village called Yotala. Small, quiet little place built on the same model as El Villar. A church, a square and a series of streets leading out to the countryside and the river. Behind one door at the corner of a street, i get to see what all the whitewashed walls hide. A traditional adobe home. It was rich in its simplicity, quiet and so serene and steeped in history. If only these walls could talk.

Je suis allée avec des amis passer une journée à leur maison de campagne à Yotala, un village à quelques kilomètres de Sucre. Comme pour El villar, il y a une église, une place devant, et des rues qui radient vers la campagne, la rivière, la route principale. Derrière une porte, un mur qui longe un coin de rue, je découvre un hâvre de paix. C'était un lieu riche en histoire et pourtant si simple. J'ai hâte d'y retourner.
