I can't really comment about the flight up here as I slept.... Proper deep sleep, comatose sleep! James read his book, but after the other 2 flights, this just seemed like a bus trip into town! The airport of course was very basic with the bags being lumped on a half conveyor belt. As with most of the flights, my rucksack arrived pretty swiftly..... James' however was about the last giving us mild heart attacks!! We were met by a lovely Argentina called Claudio who whisked us off in his van to the boarder where we crossed into Argentina!! Lovely man did all the paperwork for us whilst we relaxed in the ac van! We were dropped off at a different than expected, but equally pleasant hotel for our 2 nights in Argentina. Claudio mentioned about going on a catamaran that evening, to go down and see the meeting of the 3 countries.... Argentina, brazil and Paraguay ..... And although we had been on the move for 36 hours we thought ' why not!!!' Ill tell you why not..... They canceled on us, asking if we would like to go at 5 am instead...... Errrrr no! After printing 12 pages (cost us about £10) for our boarding passes for our next flight, we needed food! I previously had been sick after taking doxy on a VERY dehydrated stomach.... I had forgot that from my previous travels..... Ooooops! James however was fine as he has the constitution of an ox.... So he tells me! Anyways...... Food.... We found a restaurant called Aqua, which we had read about on trip adviser. We both plumped for 2 local fish .... Mine a pacu and James' a surubi. The fist being like a mackerel flavour, the latter like haddock.... Meatier and much nicer than mine.... God damn food jealousy! We had great plans to go back to the hotel and write journals.... We didn't, I sat with my feet up against the wall to get rid of swollen feet from flying, James checked skysport news on his phone and then he went really tired and zonked out!! Due to the fact he is a delicacy to every insect in South America, I wrapped him in my mosi net and settled down myself! Off to the falls in the morning! Eeeeeek!! X
