Late planes and missed buses

Got 10 mins to burn...
Spent a very frustrating 5 hours waiting for my plane from buenos aires yesterday,,, eventually got to el calafate (patagonia) at about 11! First impressions,,, this place is sooo touristy. Full of restaurants and outdoor shops that only sell outdoor fashion! Haven´t managed to purchase a carrymat to replace the one that British Airways lost for me. And praying that i can get a refill camping gas tin somewhere.

Anyway this morning i attempted to get to El Chalten, a place more set up for hiking. Bloody missed the 8am bus, despite the fact that I got there just before it left - they wouldn´t let me on!! brrr.... so am now waiting for 1pm bus....

Judging by the postcards should be in for some spectacular scenery in the next few days. Hoping to go camping for about 4 days...
