Well I can´t believe where i am or how its possible i ended up here.

To confess, despite the beauty and wonder of salta, I felt a little lonely and sad for reason I won´t detail. However, I met a generous soul, Martin, who worked at my hostel. We pretty much spent every day together doing basically not much, and playing jenga in the night. We even went to see a movie and it was great fun. Thanks Martin!!!

so I boarded the late night bus to cafeyate. i arrived around midnight in this town and as I got closer I thought, man, where the hell am i gonna stay??? i had my lonely planet so i wasn´t tooooo worried but i felt tired and scared... willl i call, will i walk for miles, its dark, its cold, my bag heavy.....

i got off the bus and there was a guy that seemed to be a traveller i was looking at, at the same time a local approached me (which is the usual), and was like, hey u need a place to stay?? with a small pamplet in his hand. the other guy was like ya i´m staying there i heard good reviews. bueno!!! so i was like sure i´m coming, and the dude was like, can i take ur backpack? and i said, well sure yes! why not (despite it being my most valuable possesion). but within 10 seconds i suppose i put absolute trust in this stanger, but i knew, i felt he was ok. and i was right. and i arrived at the cheapest, best hostel in town. his name was danny and he´s been super!!! we went out for wine flavored ice creme and beer later (this is wine capital of salta).

slept like a dream!! and had dreams... wonderous, adventurous dreams...

did i forget to mention louis, the cousin of the owner who lives in the hostel who happened to be the only guy or person in my dorm and in the bed next to me? lol. funny, and totally cool dude.

i woke naturally as usual... terrifically happy 😊 within 15 minutes louis entered, r u ok?? si, si bueno, porque? dormiste tanto, ohhhh no, nada problema, todo bien, gracias!! queires cafe? siiiiii, bueno... vamos.

a shower, some yoga, ahhhhhh... yes... some taichi... shall we visit the totally free and tasty wineries??? helll yes!!! bikes, free, thanks danny, vamos!! 3 wineries and 8 glasses later a goat cheese facotory, all situated in lovely lovely lovely mountains!!! free goat cheese!! mmmmmm could life get better??? lets go get some more 30 cent salami goat cheese empanadas and wine flavored ice creame!! hell ya!

heaven, heaven, heaven.....

tommorow waterfalls?? sure why not... next day horse back in mountains? i think i can spare the 8 dollars....
