Gefeliciteerd/ Congratulations!!
Hello Adventure Travelers Gill, congratulations, and good that you had a nice 30th!! Very nice pictures, I appreciate them even more now I know it took so much sweat and pain to get there, but I reckon (sitting here behind the computer screen :-) that it must have been worth it. Beautiful mountains and magnificent lakes! And of course great stories from both of you (have been reading several of them). Here in Esperance, Australia all is fine (except some very bad Weath crops, due to hail and rain). Its nice sunny weather here and last weekend I went waterskiing a lake with friends. My work as a (vocational) Rehabilitation Consultant is still very rewarding and enjoyable. I wish you two HAPPY TRAVELS but I'm sure you will. Look forward to your next south american update. Cheers Leoni

Hi Leonie
Nice to hear from you (although not so nice that the crops have failed) and glad you like your job as Rehabilitation Consultant. Hope the fires around Melbourne won't head your way, luckely your far away from that disaster. Here in Tiera del Feugo (Land of Fire) they used to have fires all the time for cooking, ceremonies & warmth. They even took it with them in their canoe if they went fishing. Anyway everything is 'Muy Bueño' as they say here and we 'll keep you posted. Greetz, Joost & Gill
