Foz de Iguazu / Puerto Iguazu

When we arrived here, we were after getting off an 18hr flight at 8 in morning and so after sleeping most of the journey we ended up in Foz de Iguazu which is on the Brazilian side. We had only planned on staying here for 1night as we heard that the argentinian side of the falls were much better.
When we went to see the falls we were amazed at the mass scale of the falls. On the brazilian side you get the whole panoramic view of the falls, which astounded us both. As you can see from the photos it was amazing.
It was valentines day so we decided to hav a meal along the river Iguazu, just as a treat to ourselves. Really romantic it was, (Yeah right, screaming kids nd a buffet!!! Nice) We were there the whole day and so went back to hostel for the night. here is where i bought my first pair of flip flops!!! Exciting stuff!!! 😊
We got a taxi transfer from the brazilian side to the Argentinian side crossing the border which was the easiest crossing ever. When we got to our hostel, Hostel Inn, we were so excited cos it had a massive pool. For 10euro a night we got a dorm, massive pool, games room, which i bet sorcha constantly at Table tennis, T.V room and Bbq every night!!! Claaaaasss
We stayed here for 3nights and wanted to stay longer but there was already a waiting list. We went to the falls again and ended up booking a tour with the hostel. It was a safari through the forest, a speed boat ride up the rapids and a ride under the waterfall. It was expensive enough and the safari was only looking at a load of trees, (boring!!!) but the boat rides under the waterfall and up the river was definately worth every penny!! Even tho we did get soaked it was deadly fun.
