Deja Vue Uh oh, I was in Mendoza again. I'd been here a year earlier after leaving the southern "cone" of the continent and supposedly heading north and homeward. well, always been a fan of architecture and I found the aqueducts and its waterways amusing and interesting. What's the cheapest travel route to Mendoza anyway?

Aqueducts and travel
Most of the towns in this desert region have these acecias--some grassy ditches, others deep cement conduits, some fancy, stone-lined ones. Bus travel is always the cheapest mode of travel. I tend to take the common, or cheapest buses.

Route of 365 curves--the former route over to Chile

The road of 365 curves reminds me of the Atlas mountains in Morocco
I got a bit car sick coming down the curves of that mountain road. It was beautiful but I was glad when we were finished with the curves. love those thermal pools. We may have to go check those out.

Sorry the curves don't agree with you. I love wild, curvy mountain roads with views far below to river canyons. Lots of thermal pools in geologically tortured South America, though not as grand as your Icelandic ones!
