Casa Rosada
Palais présidentiel d'Argentine. C'est le palais célèbre pour son balcon ou Eva Perron (Evita) adressait ses discours a la foule First day of classes!
On a finalement commencé nos cours.
For the first day at school we had to be there quite early. And since Davide kinda explained to us how to get there, we decided to walk. As we arrived, at the door we met Karishma (or cuchara for Steph), an Indian girl born in Hong Kong. I didnt have to do a placement test, so I was pretty bored sitting waiting for Stephanie in the common area. Then we got our placement and had to argue our way into the same schedule. Then we grabbed lunch (tartas - pie with hamon y quese for me and verdura for Stef. See picture). Then we also visited Obelisco, which had a Christmas tree right next to it - it was quite bizarre.
On the first day we were welcomed with a lunch and some info about the school. Empanadas became my favourite food instantly! First class was pretty scary for me, because most people knew more than me, so i was very relieved to see a dutch girl Alida that joined our class, who didnt know much either. So there was 2 British girls: Rose, Camilla, one swiss guy: Romain, and two Brazilians: Flavia and Marco. My teacher Nuria is very nice, but doesnt want to speak English, so tough luck for me trying to understand what's going on in class.
At night we went for drinks again - really close to our apartment building, since we finally met the 3rd housemate from Brazil, Gabriel. And again the swiss
