about to get all down on everything...

what happened to july 21st? i landed in buenos aires, scared shitless, it was a rainy day the type of rainy that's not actually raining but chilly and wet and i got here and couldn't speak spanish and ate horrible spaghetti and sauce and got lost walking a foot to the supermercado for toilet trees and unpacked and met the whole family and was scared and went to circolo italiano with angeles and met new people and was nervous and awkward and grew to dread reuniones with mario and ate in really bad overpriced cafes on sante fe and thought the best shopping was in recoleta. then trying out all the classes and finally settling on ones that i hated the least and really making a core group of friends and saliring like every night. what happened to like making out with herpes men and brits in 8 year relationships and sunday night bottles of rosada champagne and looking forward to saturday dinners and bday celebrations, boliches til 7 am, really bad weed, 20 hour bus rides to god knows where, way too many cigarettes, parques, shopping, mark's, sugar sugar sugar ahhh, breakfast after going out all night, horrible informes, even more horrible operas, how ridiculous graciela's class is and all the pausas and cafe grandes and oreo alfajores, drag shows, blahhhhh. trying to figure out what happened in between now and july 21st and why it happened so fast and do that without freaking out. but i can't figure it out and i can't not freak out whyyy everything has been so perfect and it has to end so fucking quickly only to go home for a month without anything to do but miss everyone and here and then back to fucking wisconsin where everyone just sucks and just like sucks. sorrrryy for being a pessimistic prick maybe it's cause i have like 4 hours of sleep to go on and shouldn't have salired after dinner... going to start looking at it with a better outlook, aprovecharing, not stressing about 20 pg monografias anymore
