croisants media lunas and other poems.

This is not the first time i have found myself consulting the dictionary before I leave the house. It is now the third language that I find myself doing this now. "Celular prepago".....this is what i need today.

Last night, trying to explain medium rare I came out with this little Spanish haiku. Hope you like it.....

Vuelta y Vuelta
un poco hecho
y un poco mas
pero
no quiero sangre
.........................................................................................................

No matter how much Spanish has been spoken to me or how much I feign study of it, there is no greater lesson then necessity.

"cafe con leche Y un croissant"
"¿media lunas?"
"Si! media Lunas"

Croissants have reached their paeon on perfection here. I shall never eat another croissant in my life now that I know the mild curve of the media luna´s smile in the morning.
