the big man So avid readers it has been a long time in between drinks and for that we apologise, really just a combination of laziness and laziness, but never fear this blog will fill you in with all the goss.
Adventure 1. Falls
We left the Brazil after veiwing Iguacu falls and thought that they couldn´t get to much better, but boy did Argentina deliver. What the Argentinian side lacks in technology, cleanliness and modern facilities it makes up with in raw beauty. I will not try to describe the falls as my words will do little justice and the photos do the same, the only thing that comes to mind is AMAZING.
So Argentina started of with a bang, what would it have in store for us next.
Adventure 2. Shopping in paraguy/ laptop adventures from hell.
We had heard that electronics where fairly cheap in Paraguy and since Linsey´s Ipod took a swim in the ocean and I was thinking about getting a netbook we thought a look might be worth while. So over we popped to paraguy (the easiest boarder crossing in the world, not even a stamp in the passport) and straight away we were flooded
with electronic stores wall to wall. The first store we visited no where near cheap and the chick was trying to sell us an I pod nano old (school version) for $250 US, at this point we thought hmmm maybe this ain´t such a smart idea. The second store was much better and we picked up a new Ipod for linz. As for myself I was still keen on the netbook idea and prices where just a little cheaper than back home nothing to cheap. In the end I found one I liked and it seemed like a good deal, only problem was windows XP was in spanish, the stores owner answer to this was just learn spanish. After asking them can it be changed they told me no problem takes 15mins and use this website. So I thought easy enough and made the purchase, 3 days later, countless hours of waiting, a near missed bus, a trip into a different province and 5 computer stores on we finally found a place that was able to change the systemm, 15mins my arse (prick). So now the laptop was finally all good working in full english been updated and I was
a happy boy. Even used the hostels internet to download some movies for the long bus rides, and spent a solid 2 hours arranging i tunes. Then Friday we head out for some tourist fun and when I come back to our room guess what is gone, the staff downstairs really didn´t seem to suprised. So now I am going without and it looks like the internet cafes will get more of a workout than planned. Technology hates me!
Adventure 3. Travel in style
Our first 18 hour bus ride from Rio to Iguacu was nothing special, comfortable but thats about all. So for our trip from Iguazu to Buenos Aires we thought we might splash out a little. 15hrs on a bus is made alot easier with 2 full meals, 3 english movies, king size reclining seats, blankets, pillows and champaign. The only issue is now we have tasted this luxuary will we ever be able to turn back.
Adventure 4 Buenos Aires/ steak/ nightlife
We don´t know how they do it, the locals. A typical night in buenos aires starts about 1 am and finishes around 7am in the morning, by about 3am me and linsey

Brazils point of view are already tucked up in bed. One of the hostels we had stayed in offered some great morning fun, wacthing the stragglers come in off the street from the night before still high on life and everything else. This hostel was alot like that, weird mainly. The owner spent most of his time in a dark room which randoms would come in and out of every few hours only to emerge blurry eyed, for some fresh air and a splash of water to the face, then retreat back to thier dungeon. Not our favourite hostel.
Steak hmmmmmm what to say about the steaks, good, great, excellent. I have only had a few but plan on many more. I am not sure if they live up to thier title of the best steaks in the world but I would have to say they are up with the best of the Aussie steaks floating around.
Adventure 5. Cordoba
this one is short and sweet. We have only been in Cordoba (Buenos Aires sister city) for 10hours now so we are waiting to see what it has in stall for us.
That is about all for now Linsey is getting
bored and it is around dinner time.
The last thing you may have noticed guest apperances in some of our photos by none other than Shrek and Bob Marley well sadly Bob had a very ugly incident with the hard floor, but don´t worry his replacement has been found and keep a keen eye out for our newest member to our group.
For now lots of Love Troy and Linsey.

I won't ask
I am glad Linsey now has her ipod, as for the laptop i am not even going to ask whether you had it in a lockable safe because i am sure you are not stupied enough to just leave it in your bag with out even a padlock on your bag. ;)
