I'm finally trying to organise my photos and comments in one family-friendly blog! Here goes... I may as well start with some photos of my neighbourhood, barrio Recoleta, and specifically the Recoleta Cemetery, resting place of Evita, among others.

Fabulously creepier than your average graveyard... even in broad daylight and within earshot of fellow-tourists.

Evita's unexciting tomb. She's buried in her family's vault, hence the name Duarte. Juan Perón is buried in the Chacarita cemetery elsewhere in the city (also the final resting place of famous tango singer Carlos Gardel).
