Japanese Art, Tokyo National Museum

I recall this story from somewhere, not sure where. The painting illustrates the short poem written on the left, which goes something like this:- A geisha has just finished having a bath, proud of her beauty - she then sees a rooster and a hen together, and feels jealous because she is single.
