Today we drove down to Waco, Texas to meet my sister and my niece for lunch. We were amazed by the sprawling network of roads and suburbs in the Dallas/Ft. Worth area and relieved to reach the quieter town of Waco. We enjoyed a wonderful variety of tacos and street corn at Torchy’s (a Texas chain that got its start as an Austin food truck).
