Up along the city walls

When we did find steps leading up to the castle wall it took us along the western wall heading south. There wasn't much of a view in this section but we did chance upon an herbal garden dedicated to growing medicinal plants. To their credit, the Germans did not rip out and steal the various healing herbs. It might have been different if Cannabis had been one of the plants.

Today the new X1 would get a breather. So far we had put on almost 500 miles in three days. Nürnberg is the ideal walking city. As usual the day started off with a big breakfast.
